For Authors
Business & Management Studies: An International Journal follows the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) at every stage of the publication process.
Work must be original and properly cited. Plagiarism, data fabrication and falsification are not accepted. Only those who made a significant contribution are listed as authors. Authors tell the editor if they notice an error.
Reviews are objective and reasoned. Submissions are kept confidential; review follows double-blind peer review. Reviewers with a conflict of interest withdraw from the review.
Decisions rest only on the scientific quality of the work and its fit with the journal. Submission details are shared only with those involved in the process. Suspected misconduct is handled following COPE flowcharts.
Studies involving human participants, personal data or animals document ethics committee approval at submission. Details are on the Research ethics approval page. Authors declare any financial or personal relationships that could influence the work.
If a significant error is found in a published article, a correction is published; if a problem affecting reliability is confirmed, the article is retracted following COPE guidance. Appeals against decisions and reports of misconduct are sent in writing to [email protected] and reviewed by the editor-in-chief.
